Brendan McGoldrick

aka "Old Brendan"Brendan began running Cross Country and Track and Field at Windsor High School in Connecticut. After graduating, he took his talents to West Long Branch as part of Monmouth University's Cross Country and Track teams. As a member of the Hawks, Brendan was a part of 7 NorthEast Conference championship teams. Brendan graduated from Monmouth with a B.A. in History and Secondary Education, and is almost a Master of Education.

Brendan has spent his post-collegiate dabbling as an underground triathlete and coaching future athletes in the Jersey Shore. Brendan is the head coach boy's Cross Country and Outdoor Track and Field teams at Red Bank Regional High School in Little Silver, NJ.

Brendan's favorite runners include: Craig Mottram, Matt Tegankamp, Craig Segal, Marty Frumkin, and Joe and Pat Jacobs.  To follow Brendan's runnning exploits, ponderings, and occasional flashes of brilliance, visit his blog.
